A passenger leaps from a Carnival cruise for the third time in two months.

Officials reported a man leaped off a Carnival Cruise Line ship into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida early Saturday morning.

The Coast Guard sent out two patrol boats and an airplane to look for the unidentified 43-year-old, whose jump sent passengers screaming and scrambling onto the ship’s deck.

According to the Navy and Carnival officials, the man jumped from the ship shortly after midnight, some 55 miles east of Port Canaveral.

According to TMZ, passengers on the enormous ship were scrambling on the deck early Saturday morning as officials from the Mardi Gras and the adjoining cruise ship Elation began their search for the overboard man.

Officials stated the Mardi Gras had left Grand Turk and was on its way to the naval dock when the search restarted.

Carnival spokesman Matt Lupoli said, “The Carnival Care Team is helping the guest’s family.” “The guest and his family are in our thoughts and prayers.”

This was the cruise line’s third occurrence of this nature in the last three months.

The body of a guy who jumped from the Carnival Horizon was discovered in the Caribbean Sea last month.

Following an altercation in a hot tub, a woman leaped to her death from the Carnival Valor into the Gulf of Mexico to avoid security.
