After final terms with the young star, who will earn £500,000 per week, Erling Haaland’s £63 million move to Man.City will be announced.

Erling Haaland’s £63 million transfer to Manchester City is expected to be announced later this week.

After City paid the release clause in his Dortmund contract, the Norwegian striker, 21, will join Pep Guardiola’s side for the start of pre-season.

Last month, Sportsmail reported that City had reached an agreement with Haaland’s representation, and that he will sign a five-year contract worth more than £500,000 per week, making him the Premier League’s highest-paid player.

City and Dortmund have been talks, and the Bundesliga club is expecting confirmation that the £63 million price to activate his release will be paid.

Haaland is one of the most prolific goal scorers in world football, scoring 85 goals in 88 appearances for Dortmund over the course of two and a half years. In recent months, he has been connected with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester United, but has chosen to stay with the English champions.
