Britney Spears claims that her father, Jamie,’stripped’ her of her femininity.

Britney Spears has claimed that her estranged father, Jamie Spears, “stripped” her womanhood when he formed a conservatorship for her in 2008.

The singer revealed in a lengthy Monday Instagram post that has since been removed that she will never forget the day her father was appointed conservator of her personal, medical, and financial affairs.

According to Spears,

“I’ll never forget the first day my father became a conservator!!!

He told me to take a seat in that chair… We’re going to have a discussion…

“He said, ‘I’m Britney Spears, and I’m calling the shots from now on,’ and I’ve felt a major part of my womanhood stolen away from me ever since… “I was never the same after that.”

Jamie attempting to assume her identity, according to Spear, corresponds to a claim made in a blockbuster piece by Ronan Farrow for The New Yorker in July 2021.

Jamie, 69, allegedly labeled his famous daughter “fat,” a “whore,” a “bad mother,” and would regularly yell, “I am Britney Spears!” during the early phases of the tight legal agreement, according to former family friend Jacqueline Butcher.

In November 2021, the singer’s conservatorship was finally lifted, much to the satisfaction of the singer, her attorney Mathew S. Rosengart, and her legions of #FreeBritney followers.
