Cuba Gooding Jr., an actor, pleads guilty to forceful touching of women and agrees to a plea deal.

Cuba Gooding Jr., an American actor, pled guilty on Wednesday, April 13 to one count of forcible touching in a long-running criminal case accusing him of abusing three different women at several Manhattan nightclubs in 2018 and 2019.

The single guilty plea came nearly three years after Gooding was arrested in the case, which had been delayed multiple times while his lawyers attempted to have the charges reduced or dismissed.

In October 2018 and June 2019, Gooding acknowledged to making non-consensual physical contact with two other women.

According to The New York Times, he said in court, “I apologize for ever making anybody feel inappropriately touched.”

As part of the plea agreement, the actor will avoid jail time but will be required to complete the alcohol and behavior modification therapy he began in 2019 for another six months and will not be arrested again.

Gooding, 54, was arrested in June 2019 after a 29-year-old woman informed police at Magic Hour Rooftop Bar & Lounge near Times Square that he pinched her breast without her consent.

He was charged in two other cases a few months later after more women came forward to accuse him of abuse.

He allegedly grabbed a server’s buttocks after making a sexually provocative remark to her at TAO Downtown and physically touched a woman improperly at LAVO Latest York nightclub in 2018, according to the new allegations.

Gooding pleaded guilty to the charge of trespassing at the LAVO nightclub.

The actor had previously rejected all charges of misbehavior and pleaded not guilty to six misdemeanor counts.
