Following his purchase of Twitter, Elon Musk warns Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to’stop hitting on me.’

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-attack Cortez’s on millionaires was taken in stride by Elon Musk, who urged the outspoken Congresswoman to “stop hitting on me.”

“Tired of having to collectively stress about what avalanche of hate crimes is happening because some billionaire with an ego problem controls and skews a large communication platform because Tucker Carlson or Peter Thiel took him to dinner and made him feel important,” AOC said on Friday.

Musk was not mentioned in the tweet, but he responded quickly.

He added a smiling emoji and commented, “Stop hitting on me, I’m pretty bashful.” The sentence looks to be a reference to AOC’s statement on the platform that her Republican critics only wanted to date her.

“I was talking about Zuckerberg, but ok,” AOC replied to Musk before quickly deleting the remark.

Ocasio-Cortez responded, but quickly deleted her comeback. After negotiating a deal with the company’s board to purchase Twitter for $44 billion, the Tesla billionaire and world’s richest man has sent shockwaves throughout the platform this week. Musk has enraged liberals by proposing to ease the platform’s censorship and welcome greater free expression.
