Prince Charles is forced into self-isolation after testing positive for Covid for the second time.

According to Clarence House, the Prince of Wales has tested positive for Covid-19 and is now self-isolating.

After acquiring the sickness in March 2020, Prince Charles, 73, who is triple-jabbed, has tested positive for the coronavirus for the second time.

“This morning the Prince of Wales has tested positive for Covid-19 and is now self-isolating,” a tweet on his official Twitter feed read.

“HRH is unhappy that he will not be able to attend today’s festivities in Winchester and will try to reschedule his visit as soon as possible.”

The positive test was announced shortly after 12:00 on February 10, about 12 minutes before Charles was scheduled to arrive in Winchester to dedicate a statue.

It comes only days after the Queen celebrated her platinum jubilee by declaring her “sincere wish” for the Duchess of Cornwall to be Queen Camilla when Charles becomes King.

Camilla followed Charles to the British Museum on Wednesday evening, where they were greeted by a large crowd for an event honoring the work of the British Asian Trust.
