Priyanka Chopra releases the first photo of her infant, revealing that she spent over 100 days in the NICU.

Priyanka Chopra has posted the first photo of her baby daughter, revealing that she spent more than 100 days in the neonatal intensive care unit after her delivery.

Priyanka stated her daughter Malti Marie, who was born via surrogate in January, is now at home in an Instagram message on Mother’s Day.

On Instagram, the former Miss World wrote: “On this Mother’s Day, we can’t help but think back on the last few months and the rollercoaster ride we’ve been on, which, as we now know, many others have as well.

“Our beautiful child is now home after more than 100 days in the NICU. While ours was a difficult few months, it became clearly evident in retrospect how precious and exquisite each moment is.

“We are happy that our little girl has returned home, and we want to express our gratitude to every doctor, nurse, and specialist at Rady Children’s La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles, who helped us along the journey. Our next chapter is about to begin, and our baby is a true badass. Let’s get this party started, MM! Your parents adore you.

“Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and caregivers in my life and all throughout the world. You make it appear so simple. I appreciate it.

“Also, I’d rather do this with you than anyone else. @nickjonas, thank you for making me a mother. I adore you.”
