After being attacked by a 5-year-old kid, the teacher was found lifeless.

After being assaulted by a 5-year-old pupil, a south Florida teacher was carried out of school on a stretcher and brought to the hospital.

The attack, which occurred last week, left the anonymous instructor “dazed” and “unresponsive,” according to officials.

According to a Pembroke Pines Police Department incident report, the teacher was discovered “seated on the ground against the wall” and “appeared to be in a faint state” at Pines Lakes Elementary School, roughly 15 miles southwest of downtown Fort Lauderdale.

The victim was “obviously weak and bewildered,” according to the report, able to “blink and breathe regularly but was unable to speak answer or show indicators of a response.”

On Monday, March 7, Broward Teachers Union President Anna Fusco told NBC News that the victim is in her late 30s or early 40s and has a slim physique.

According to authorities, the incident began when a 5-year-old kid was taken from class for “throwing stuff around” and “turning the chairs.”

According to authorities, the child was escorted to an empty “cool down” room where the attack on the teacher took place.

According to officials, the teacher was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood and has since been released.

While the teenage suspect is still being probed for alleged “aggravated assault with hands, fists, and feet,” a police spokeswoman told NBC News on Monday that he is unlikely to face criminal charges.
