Cristiano Ronaldo responds to criticism of his goal-scoring record at Manchester United, saying, “I don’t have to tell you that I’m extremely good… the figures are there.”

Cristiano Ronaldo, the world’s most famous footballer, has responded to criticism of his goal-scoring record at Manchester United by asserting that he is still one of the best players on the planet.

Ralf Rangnick, the interim manager, stated earlier this month that it was “clear” that Ronaldo needed to score more goals before ending his 13-year goal drought.

Despite being United’s leading scorer this season with 15 goals and the only player in double digits at Old Trafford, the Portuguese star has been chastised for his performance.

‘Year after year, I prove that the numbers speak for themselves,’ Ronaldo remarked. ‘I don’t need to tell you how good I am since the numbers speak for themselves.’

‘The facts are what they are, and the rest isn’t.’ It makes no difference. That’s why I’m so pleased with my physique. I’m still scoring goals and assisting teammates, both for the national team and for Manchester United, and I want to keep doing so.

‘At the age of 18, I began playing at the highest level, and I’ve been at the pinnacle of the game for the past 15-16 years.’

‘It’s my commitment, enthusiasm, and desire to work hard all of the time.’ This is why, in terms of performance, trophies, goals, and records, I continue to remain at the top of the world.’

In his career, the former Real Madrid and Juventus striker has scored 804 goals, including a world-record 115 on the international stage.
