On Monday, Pete Davidson called Kim Kardashian his “girlfriend” for the first time in public.
When questioned if his increased celebrity has led to a more “fun” lifestyle, Davidson simply said that he spends most of his days “showing up to a set” or hanging out with pals or his “partner.”
“Or, if I’m not working, I just hang out with my buddies or spend time with my partner indoors.” So I don’t do much,” Davidson said of Kardashian to People.
Davidson’s mention is the first time he or Kardashian have spoken publicly about their relationship status.
After Kardashian hosted “SNL” and even shared an on-screen kiss in October, the Skims entrepreneur, 41, and the “Saturday Night Live” star, 28, ignited romance rumors. A few weeks later, the two were seen holding hands in public.
Since then, the couple has made the most of their relationship. They’ve gone to the Bahamas, hosted a pajama party with Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner, and most recently went on an escape room date with Kardashian’s sister, Khloé Kardashian.
“[Khloé] adores Pete and is overjoyed to see how happy he makes her sister,” a source told Page Six exclusively.
Khloé “loves” the two together, according to a source close to the family, and she and Davidson “get along great.”
“She’s overjoyed to see how happy he makes her sister,” said the second insider. “On both sides, we hear their closest friends and family approve.”
Khloé wasn’t the only member of the Kardashian family that gushed about the relationship.
The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch is “already smitten” with the comedian, according to a source who spoke to E! News in December.
“Pete’s entire family is a fan and would love to spend the holidays with him,” the source continued.
In February 2021, Kim filed for divorce from Kanye West, although it has yet to be finalized. North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2, are her children with West, who is now seeing actress Julia Fox while publicly warring with Kim on social media.
