In a cowboy hat, Prince Harry makes a surprise visit at a Texas rodeo.

On Saturday, Prince Harry made an unexpected visit at a Texas rodeo, where he watched bull riding competitions.

“What happened to Prince Harry on Saturday night?” At the Stockyards Championship Rodeo, I was just hanging around behind the bucking chutes!! It’s fantastic!! Thank you for stopping by!!” Cindy Reid, the rodeo’s secretary, wrote on Instagram.

The redheaded monarch got into the spirit of things by visiting the Fort Worth stockyards wearing a cowboy hat, which made him appear like an Indiana Jones copycat.

Former bull rider-turned-trainer Cory Melton’s company Melton Bull Co. also shared the image in a since-deleted post, which was captioned, “Prince Harry hanging out at the rodeo this week … We get a lot of rodeo royalty but this is the first prince I’ve seen. Said he was going to enter the bull riding but the airline lost his rigging bag….”

It appears Harry, 37, attended the rodeo solo, so perhaps his wife, Meghan Markle, remained at home with their two kids, Archie, 2, and Lilibet, 9 months.

The Duke of Sussex has been experiencing staples of American culture without 40-year-old Markle lately, as he also attended the Super Bowl in February with his cousin Princess Eugenie.

The two were seen sitting next to each other in a private suite at SoFi Stadium. In one pic, Eugenie, 31, appeared to be talking to Harry while he seemingly focused on the game.

With COVID-19 restrictions lifted, Harry appears to be wanting to take in more of his new homeland’s experiences. He and the Duchess of Sussex first moved to California in early 2020 after they officially resigned from their royal duties.
