Jen Shah would like Kim Kardashian to join her legal team.

Jen Shah confirmed that her previous suggestion to have Kim Kardashian join her legal team before her forthcoming wire fraud and money laundering trial is still on the table.

“Listen, Kim Kardashian is not yet a member of the Shah squad’s legal staff. When I said, ‘Do we need to add Kim Kardashian to our legal team?’ they thought I was joking. On “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show,” Shah remarked, “I was dead ass 100 serious.”

The 48-year-old “RHOSLC” star said she had “crazy respect” for Kardashian’s legal achievements in recent years, which include passing California’s “baby bar” after three unsuccessful tries, assisting Alice Johnson in her release, and pushing for criminal justice and prison reform.

“She has been able to advocate for those who have been wrongfully accused of crimes and effect change,” Shah continued. “They’re innocent, and she’s been able to be a part of the movement to, you know, go fight for them at the White House or with the government to get them out,” she says.

In March 2021, Shah was arrested for allegedly defrauding hundreds of individuals, mostly the elderly, through a telemarketing scam. She faces charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to launder money. She has entered a not guilty plea, and her trial is scheduled to begin on March 22 in New York City.

“I was dead serious,” Shah added, “because I’m feeling like I’m being falsely accused of something.” “I have no idea what’s going on – do I really need Kim Kardashian on my team?” “Because that s–t gets handled,” says the narrator.

If convicted, Shah, who has maintained her innocence, may face a sentence of up to 50 years in prison.

“This is not something I take lightly,” Shah remarked. “It’s my life, and, more significantly, it’s the life of my family.” I’m more concerned about them than anything else. I don’t want my children, husband, mother, or relatives to be harmed by this, so I must fight and have faith in the judicial system.”

The reunion of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” airs on Bravo on March 6 and 13 at 8 p.m. ET.
