Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, the brother of Browns linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, was discovered dead at the age of 23.

The brother of a Cleveland Browns player was found dead in Hampton, Virginia on Tuesday, April 5. Police are investigating.

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, the brother of Browns linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, was discovered dead inside a burning home in Hampton, Virginia.

Joshua Emmanuel Owusu-Koramoah, a former William & Mary linebacker, is one year older than the Browns’ second-year linebacker out of Notre Dame, Joshua Emmanuel Owusu-Koramoah.

According to police records, the Hampton Police Department and the Division of Fire and Rescue responded to a complaint soon before 10 a.m. Tuesday and discovered Joshua’s death inside his home.

Drew Barker, an Owusu-Koramoah Bethel High football teammate, told The Virginian-Pilot that he was supposed to meet Owusu-Koramoah for breakfast on Tuesday morning and was worried when he was late.

“It was automatically sad when he wasn’t answering phone calls,” said Barker, the junior varsity football head coach and varsity baseball assistant coach at Hampton’s Kecoughtan High School.
