Julian Assange’s wedding to long-term companion Stella Moris took place inside a high-security jail.

Julian Assange, the founder of Wikileaks, married his long-term lover in a private ceremony inside his high-security jail.

The 50-year-old Australian is being jailed at HMP Belmarsh as the US seeks to extradite him on 18 counts of leaking classified military and diplomatic documents over a decade ago.

Julian spent seven years at the Ecuadorian embassy in London before being imprisoned, where he met Stella Moris, who worked on his legal team.

After the ceremony at the prison, Stella and loved ones had a reception that Assange couldn’t attend because he is behind bars.
