On Thursday, Kanye West was spotted shopping in Miami with Kim Kardashian impersonator Chaney Jones.
The “Donda” artist and Jones, who looks eerily like West’s separated wife, were photographed stopping in a Balenciaga store before grabbing sushi for lunch.
“They walked around Bal Harbour Shops and stopped at Balenciaga before taking the elevator to Makoto on the second floor, where they dined on spicy tuna crispy rice and a couple cocktails,” a source tells Page Six.
“There was no PDA, and they were incredibly low-key,” the source says.
“Kanye was surrounded by fangirls who wanted selfies at Bal Harbour Shops, and he took a few but seemed uninterested,” the insider said.
In a blue Boston Fire Department hooded sweatshirt with stains on the front pocket, West, 44, looks sloppy. Dark pants and black rubber Yeezy boots completed his ensemble.
Jones, meanwhile, followed Kardashian’s lead and flaunted her curves in a tight tank top and leggings, black sneakers, and giant mirrored sunglasses. She carried a black Hermes Birkin bag with crocodile leather – possibly a present from Ye?
During their retail therapy appointment, West appeared to be preoccupied when he accepted a phone call. Jones, on the other hand, appeared unconcerned and was seen holding her own iPhone.
Before eating lunch together, the two went shopping.
Jones and West have been hanging out a lot lately, most recently at Nobu Malibu. According to TMZ, she also attended his live “Donda 2” event in Miami earlier this week.
Nonetheless, the rapper has continued to pursue Kardashian throughout their relationship, even sending her a truckload of roses on Valentine’s Day. He was also in an open relationship for a few months with Julia Fox before they split up earlier this month.
Kardashian begged with the judge to check off on her divorce from the “Jeen-yuhs” singer after he objected to her requests. West’s outing with Jones comes after Kardashian asked with the judge to sign off on her divorce from the “Jeen-yuhs” star.
In court documents acquired by Page Six on Thursday, the Skims creator stated, “I very much desire to get divorced,” adding, “Kanye has been publishing a lot of disinformation regarding our private concerns and co-parenting on social media, which has caused mental pain.”
West objected to Kardashian’s plea to be declared legally unmarried last week. The rapper ripped at the mother of their four children, North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2, in a series of Instagram posts. He accused her of hiding his children from him and said that she was forcing North to use TikTok against his choice.
He’s also been dragging Kardashian’s new boyfriend, Pete Davidson, constantly, calling him a “d–khead” and threatening to “beat” his “ass.”
