Kendall Jenner responds to Kanye West’s replacement at Coachella 2022, The Weeknd.

Kendall Jenner reacted subtly to the news that The Weeknd will headline Coachella 2022 in place of her ex-brother-in-law Kanye West.

The model, 26, added a praying-hands emoji to the “Take My Breath” singer’s Instagram post on Wednesday, which featured the revamped lineup for the California-based music festival.

The Weeknd, 32, and house music supergroup Swedish House Mafia will take over the rapper’s spots on Sunday, April 17, and Sunday, April 24, according to Coachella organizers.

Though Jenner’s answer might be interpreted as a compliment to West, 44, who has made multiple public attacks on her sister Kim Kardashian, their family, and Kardashian’s boyfriend, Pete Davidson, in recent months, it could equally be interpreted as a dig at West.

Page Six exclusively revealed earlier this week that The Weeknd was the front-runner to replace the “All of the Lights” rapper, who bailed on the assignment less than two weeks before the show’s start date.

“Kanye has undoubtedly withdrawn from Coachella,” a source told us on Monday. “He hasn’t done any rehearsals or put on a show.”

Travis Scott, who has two children with Kylie Jenner, “was supposed to be joining [West] on stage,” according to our source.

“It’d be nearly hard for him to pull it together now.” “Look for The Weeknd to take his place,” our source said, adding, “Kanye is pulling out because he wants to keep out of the spotlight after all the drama with Kim and Pete; he needs support.”

We previously reported that West informed Kardashian he was “going away to get therapy” following a string of questionable conduct, some of which resulted in a 24-hour Instagram suspension and the cancellation of his Grammys performance.

According to our sources While he is “away” getting “well,” West, who has four children with the beauty entrepreneur, has promised not to make “any public appearances or inflammatory social media statements.”
