Newcastle United are apparently preparing to offer Moses Simon, a Nigerian forward, a £100,000-per-week contract to join them in the summer.
The Premier League club has made Simon, who currently plays for Nantes in Ligue 1, their main target ahead of next season, according to OwnGoalNigeria.
Simon will cost the Magpies about £20 million in transfer fees, and the club is quite keen to get him in.
The 26-year-old, who was a standout performer at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, has two goals and six assists this season in the French top flight.
