Seven guys were detained after they filmed themselves being castrated for an explicit channel that was promoted on Twitter.
Cult members allegedly sliced their genitals in a basement flat in Finsbury Park, North London, so that they could be streamed on a pay-per-view service.
In a probe into the cult known as “nullos” — short for genital nullification — detectives from a major investigation team spent three days investigating the flat.
A 44-year-old Norwegian man was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to do serious bodily damage at the residence “The Eunuch Maker.”
He is thought to be the owner of a film production firm and has undergone the same surgical treatment as the other six people arrested.
The gang met on an internet forum for males who identify as eunuchs, according to The Sun.
Men who have had their testes or external genitals removed are known as eunuchs.
“It was all quite odd,” a neighbor said of the raid on the flat where the medical procedure is performed. “Police were outside the unit for a few days.” Everything was in plastic bags, and it appeared to be PCs and laptops.”
“The allegations are disturbing,” a source added. Men’s private parts are alleged to have been filmed being removed.
“These surgeries were reportedly broadcast on an adult pay-per-view channel.”
