Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel deny news of a divorce.

In a statement posted on social media, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and her husband, Prince Daniel, rejected divorce rumors.

The Swedish royals responded to the rumors on their official account, saying that while they would not tolerate any conjecture about their marriage, they were forced to deny them in order to “defend our family.”

“It has come to our attention that a significant nasty rumor is being propagated regarding our private relationship,” the message stated. Rumors of infidelity in the relationship and an eventual divorce are circulating.

“We don’t usually respond to rumors and speculation. However, in order to safeguard our family, we must state unequivocally that the reports currently circulating are absolutely false. Daniel and Victoria.”

On the 19th of June, 2010, Victoria married Daniel in Stockholm Cathedral. The bride and groom’s families, as well as a number of royals from around the world, including the Earl and Countess of Wessex, were in attendance during their wedding.

After meeting in a high-end gym that the prince owned, Victoria and Daniel married on June 19, 2010.

Other international royals, including Prince Albert of Monaco, Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, and the Earl and Lady of Lancaster, were in attendance at their $2 million wedding ceremony.

The couple shares two children, Princess Estelle, 9, and Prince Oscar, 5.
