Two police officers in New Jersey are being investigated after breaking up a fight and forcing a white child to sit on the couch while a black child was pinned to the floor and detained (video)

After breaking up an altercation at Bridgewater Commons Mall, two New Jersey police officers are being investigated.

A video circulating on social media shows two adolescents fighting, soon before authorities handcuffed the black youngster and forced him to the ground, leaving the white student sitting on a couch.

The adolescents were first seen in a verbal altercation.

The scenario quickly devolved into a physical brawl in which both teenagers traded blows. Officers rush up to the incident as the white teen smashes the black teen to the floor, flinging the white teen into the couch and kneeing the black kid in the back as he is detained.

The female cop shoves the white adolescent onto a nearby couch and signals for him to stay. Simultaneously, the male police tackles the Black youngster to the ground, sits on him, and handcuffs him, while the female officer quickly kneels on his back to keep him down on the ground.

According to an eyewitness, “It’s because he’s black that it’s trigger. Racially energized “.. Both youths were banned from the mall for three years, according to NJ.com, and the Bridgewater Police Department is investigating the incident.

In a Facebook statement, the department said:

“We acknowledge that this video has caused concern in our community, and we are requesting an internal review.”

“We have made a request.”

Police officers are not generally stationed at the mall, according to Troy Fischer, senior general manager of the mall, but the Bridgewater Police Department received a warning that a fight would break out there on Saturday night. As a result, officers from the police department were summoned to the scene prior to the event.

Eboné, the mother of the black boy named Kye, told ABC 7 that she was relieved that her son was safe, but that the two police officers should be fired.

She stated,

“I had to listen to it while on mute.” I haven’t watched it or listened to the audio yet; I’m taking baby steps into watching it, but it’s really insane.

“IT DOESN’T CONSIDER TWO COPS TO KEEP A 14-YEAR-OUTDATED BOY DOWN WHO IS NOT RESISTING, WHEN THE OTHER BOY IS JUST HEADING FREE OF CHARGE AND HOWEVER HEADING OFF ON MY SON. IT JUST ISN’T GOING TO MAKE FEELING/”
