Adeboye recalls a message he received after his son’s death that helped him cope with his grief.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has spoken out about how he overcame his sadness following his son’s death.

In May of 2021, Pastor Dare Adeboye passed away.

Adeboye recalled a message he received from a spiritual daughter while grieving on Friday, April 1, during the church’s April 2022 Holy Ghost Service.

Children, Adeboye stated, are proof that God is a Miracle Worker, a Covenant-Keeper, a Burden-Bearer, and the Defender of the Defenseless, while speaking on the theme of “Signs and Wonders.”

“I was terribly in despair when I lost my son last year until I got a text from one of my daughters that reversed the tide,” he said.

“Daddy, let God carry you,” she wrote simply.

He went on to say that God is a Carrier who carries burdens, sorrows, and worries for those who have a childlike nature.
