Davido is part of a group of musicians who created the official soundtrack for Qatar’s hosting of the 2022 World Cup.
He is the first Nigerian musician to have a song included in the official FIFA World Cup final soundtrack. The ace Nigerian singer features on the track with Trinidad Cardona, an American R&B singer, and Aisha, an American singer.
Davido shared the news on Twitter, writing, “Who dey wamba, we still qualified las las.” I’m pleased to be a part of the Official Soundtrack for the @FIFAWorldCup 2022! 2NITE, This one is dedicated to Africa! “TULE!!!! WE RISE!” exclaims the narrator.
At today’s draw ceremony, the track would be performed live for the first time.
