“I’m trying my best as the primary provider as a parent.” Kim Kardashian responds to Kanye West’s comments about their daughter, North, using TikTok without her father’s consent.

Kanye West took issue with Kim Kardashian allowing their daughter North West to use TikTok, so she retaliated.

On Friday, Feb. 4, Kanye took to Instagram to express his displeasure with his 8-year-old daughter’s use of TikTok.

“SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL?” he wrote beside a screenshot of North taken from TikTok.

Kim Kardashian has reacted to the news on Instagram.

Kanye’s relentless insults on her, she added in her statement, harmed her more than any TikTok North could ever do.

“Kanye’s relentless attacks on me in interviews and on social media is honestly more cruel than anything else,” she added.

“As the primary provider and caretaker for our children, I am trying my best to safeguard our daughter while also enabling her to express her creativity in whatever media she chooses, under adult supervision, because it offers her joy.

“Divorce is stressful enough on our children, and Kanye’s preoccupation with attempting to control and manipulate our situation in such a bad and public way is only causing more misery for everyone,” she added. “I’ve wanted a good and supportive co-parenting relationship from the beginning because it’s what’s best for our kids, and it saddens me that Kanye is making it impossible every step of the way.”
