Today, Friday, February 4, the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics officially began in Beijing, China.
The Olympic flame was ignited by Chinese President Xi Jinping, who was joined by other world leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, at the opening ceremony at Beijing’s National Stadium, also known as the Bird’s Nest.
