Kim Kardashian appears to be purging herself of any Kanye West memorabilia right now, right down to her shoes.
Over the weekend, the 41-year-old billionaire listed two pairs of black Yeezy sandals for $375 and $350 on her Kardashian Kloset website.
Both pairs of black mesh mule-style heels were offered in size 37 (US sizes 6 to 6.5), with the higher-priced pair including the box and the lower-priced pair arriving without it.
While it’s understandable that the Skims creator would want to sell the West-branded sandals — she was deemed legally single earlier this month after filing for divorce from West in February 2021 — social media users slammed her for trying to cash in on shoes she undoubtedly received.
“Not Kim out here selling her Yeezy sandals I can’t lmao,” one fan wrote on Reddit.
Another commenter on the “KUWTK” Reddit wrote, “Selling items you got for free while you’re already a ‘billionaire’ is so GROSS.”
“Nobody wants to work these days,” another mocked Kardashian’s contentious comments about working, adding, “simply sell the items you were gifted!”
Kardashian Kloset promptly withdrew both web listings, which now display error notices, ostensibly because to the reaction.
This isn’t the first time someone has chastised one of the Kardashians for reselling gifts on their fashion store, which opened in 2019 and makes no profit.
Christian Cowan was furious with Khloé Kardashian in 2010 when she tried to sell runway samples she’d been provided, despite the fact that a source informed Page Six Style the celebrity was never asked to return the pieces.
The listing vanished off the website, just like Kim’s Yeezys.
The shoe dilemma comes after Kim’s successful March 18 launch of her Skims Swim line, which added swimwear to her $3.2 billion shapewear and lingerie brand. Kim is presently dating comedian Pete Davidson, 28.
Meanwhile, owing to his “concerning internet activity,” West, 44, has been canceled from performing at the Grammys.
Following his outburst against Trevor Noah, who tweeted in support of Kardashian amid her turbulent divorce and custody battle with West, the rapper was banned from Instagram for 24 hours on March 16.
We doubt we’ll see any more Yeezy stragglers in Kim’s “Kloset” in the future, but only time will tell.
