On Thursday, April 14, the 54-year-old pleaded guilty to knowingly touching a woman over the age of 16 on September 10 last year at Warrington Magistrates’ Court.

The prosecutor, Jonathan Wilkinson, claimed the victim of the event in Crewe, Cheshire, was under the age of 18.

The matter will be referred to Chester Crown Court, where Hankey will be sentenced on May 12th, according to District Judge Nicholas Sanders.

Hankey spoke just to identify his name, age, and address in court on Thursday morning, and to plead guilty to the accusation.

As he granted Hankey conditional bail, he informed him that he would be subject to notification obligations and that he should report to a local police station.

The Count, as he is known in the darts world, is a two-time world champion.

He qualified for the BDO World Championship for the first time in 1998 and won in 2000 and 2009.
