The Queen is doing ‘better’ after recovering from COVID-19, according to Prince Charles.

After testing positive for COVID-19 in February, Queen Elizabeth II is said to be doing considerably “better.”

While visiting Southend-on-Sea on Tuesday, Prince Charles, who had recently recovered from the virus, allegedly spoke with a golf club administrative staffer named Janice Jacom.

She told Hello! magazine, “I questioned the prince about his mother, and he responded, ‘She’s a much better now – it was really light.'”

“It was a little scary since the Queen is getting on a bit,” Jacom continued, “but I think she’s just great.”

When queried about his mother’s condition, the Prince of Wales, 73, reportedly offered a similar response to another local, Raymond Gibson.

“I asked how his mother was doing, and he replied she had a minor case of COVID and was well,” Gibson told Town & Country.

The news comes as rumours surface that the 95-year-old British monarch was reunited with her grandkids over the weekend after a good recovery.

According to the Daily Mail, she spent an afternoon outdoors with Prince William and Kate Middleton, as well as their three children, Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3, at her Windsor estate.

Princess Beatrice and her 5-month-old daughter, Sienna, were also present at the Frogmore Cottage reunion, according to the site.

Buckingham Palace stated at the time of her diagnosis that the monarch was suffering from “mild cold-like symptoms,” but that she will continue to perform “light duties.”

“She will continue to receive medical care and will adhere to all applicable procedures,” the palace said in a statement.

The monarch, who will observe the 70th anniversary of her accession to the throne with her Platinum Jubilee this year, has resumed some of her duties.

On Tuesday, she was spotted having two virtual meetings with foreign ambassadors from her Windsor Castle mansion. For the video conversations, she chose a vibrant green outfit with her distinctive pearls.
