Mark Wahlberg wishes to correct the record.
On Friday, the 50-year-old actor flaunted a massage gun that he had given to co-star Tom Holland to aid in post-workout recuperation.
“Do you see this, Mr. Tom Holland?” In the Instagram video, Wahlberg said, “Power Plate Pulse is a massage instrument, for muscle rehabilitation, nothing else.”
Earlier this week, the 25-year-old “Spider-Man” star admitted that he mistook the muscle stimulator for a sex item.
“After I left Mark Wahlberg’s residence in L.A., he gave me a massage gun and brought me back to my hotel,” Holland said in a recent virtual interview with “Access Hollywood,” adding, “I was perplexed as to what type of massage it was.”
He went on to say, “I assumed Mark Wahlberg was driving me back to my place for reasons more than just being a gentleman.” “I had no idea who you were – it’s Hollywood, sweetheart.” “Who knows what will happen?” says the narrator.
The revelation stunned Wahlberg, who was also present for the interview.
“I can’t believe you were thinking that the whole time,” he exclaimed. “Get your mind out of the gutter, buddy,” says the narrator.
The “Boogie Nights” star made it obvious that he wasn’t attempting to woo Holland.
Currently, the two may be seen on screen together in “Uncharted,” in which they play partners on a journey to uncover “the greatest treasure never found.”
