Will Smith claims that he and Jada Pinkett Smith’s marriage has never been marred by adultery.

It appears that the infamous “entanglement” was not considered cheating.

Will Smith confirmed in a new interview on Sunday that he and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, “never” experienced adultery in their marriage, despite earlier revealing that they’d dated other people since they married.

“Jada and I talk about everything, and we’ve never surprised each other with anything,” the “King Richard” star said on “CBS Mornings” with Gayle King.

Jada, 50, revealed in an episode of her Facebook Watch series “Red Table Talk” in July 2020 that she was seeing musician August Alsina while she and Will, 53, were discreetly split.

The “Matrix” star famously referred to her 2015 affair as a “entanglement” rather than an affair.

Meanwhile, Alsina, who is now 29 years old, stated that Will was aware of his relationship with Jada.

In a June 2020 interview with Angela Yee from “The Breakfast Club,” the “Entanglements” singer claimed, “I actually sat down with Will and had a chat due to the shift from their marriage to life partnership… he gave me his blessing.”

“I absolutely committed myself to that relationship for years of my life,” he said, adding, “and I honestly and really, really sincerely love and have a ton of love for her.” I devoted myself to it, giving it my entire self — to the point that I could die right now and be happy.

On “Red Table Talk,” Jada disputed that Will gave her “permission” to see Alsina, but she did see why the singer may think so.

Will revealed in September 2021 that “monogamy was what we chose, not thinking of monogamy as the sole marital perfection” throughout the “big part” of his marriage to Jada.

According to GQ magazine, the “Hitch” star and the “Gotham” alum have “given each other trust and freedom” in their relationship because marriage “can’t be a prison” for them.

“I don’t recommend our path to anyone.” “I don’t recommend this path to anyone,” he stated. “However, the experiences, freedoms, and unconditional support that we’ve given one another, to me, is the highest definition of love.”

Will recounted to Oprah Winfrey in November 2021 why he and his wife took a break from their marriage, leading in the Alsina connection.

“What occurred was we understood that being able to make each other happy was a fantasy mirage,” the “Independence Day” actress remarked on Apple TV+’s “The Oprah Conversation.”

“We agreed that she would have to make herself happy, and I would have to make myself happy, and then we’d return to the relationship already pleased, rather than expecting the other person to fill our empty cup.”

Will and Jada have been married since 1997 and have a son, Jaden, who is 23 years old, and a daughter, Willow, who is 21 years old.
