In a major crackdown operation, law enforcement officials have apprehended 41 undocumented immigrants during a raid at an underground nightclub in Adams County, Colorado. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), along with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), conducted the early morning operation on Sunday.
Officials discovered 49 individuals inside what appeared to be a makeshift nightclub operating out of a vacant warehouse. Of particular concern was the alleged connection of some detainees to the notorious Tren de Aragua gang, known for terrorizing local communities. During the raid, authorities seized drugs, weapons, and cash. According to officials, the gathering was an ‘invite-only’ event, with suspected gang members reportedly distributing invitations through social media platforms. Sources indicate that these clandestine meetings had been occurring at the warehouse location for several months prior to the raid.
The operation marks a significant breakthrough in ongoing efforts to combat illegal immigration and gang-related activities in the area.
